Terrakom has upgraded its network to 10 Gbit/s

Internet speeds of 200/200 and 400/400 Mbit/s in the offer for business customers.

4 April 2017

By upgrading the Radnička – Selska – Sopot optical ring to 10 Gbit/s, Terrakom has increased the internet access speeds it can offer business customers on its own fibre infrastructure. Alongside the previous 100/100 Mbit/s, symmetric speeds of 200/200 and 400/400 Mbit/s are now available, and all the conditions for connecting customers at 1 Gbit/s have also been met.

These speeds can be requested by business entities located in buildings and business centres where the Terrakom fibre infrastructure has already been laid, or in their immediate vicinity. As a reminder, Terrakom is developing its own fibre network in parts of Zagreb, Sesvete and Kutina.

"We are focused on upgrading our own network because that kind of service is what customers want and need, whether they are residential customers or companies. The services we offer over fibre are the most affordable on the domestic market, and we are pleased that more and more strong business companies recognise us as a relevant factor on the telecom market. Through continuous work on available speeds, as well as on the stability and quality of the service, we maintain the trust placed in us", said Igor Tatarević, Chairman of the Management Board of Terrakom.

Among other things, Terrakom fibre has been laid in all the major business centres in Zagreb — VMD 1 and 2 in Strojarska Street, Zagrebtower, Eurotower, Olimp centar, Sigma centar, Radnička cesta, the office building at Budmanijeva 1, the Hektorovićeva 2 business centre and others.
